Preaching the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus

Statement of Beliefs

We believe both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible to be the inspired word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.(2 Tim 3:15,16; 1 Pet2:21)

We believe that there is but one God eternally existing in three (3) persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4, Matt 28:19)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, suffered death by crucifixion on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended into Heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God  the Father, and He is continually making intercession for the saints. He will personally return to earth with great power and glory to rule over the nations(Isa 7:14: Heb 7:26; Acts 2:22; 1Cor 15:3,4; Acts 1:9-11)

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; and in order to become a new creature in Christ Jesus, we must be born again by repentance and faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. (Rom 3:2; John3:3; Rom8:16; )

We believe that Jesus gave three(3) ordinances to the church, which are: (1) Communion (2) Baptism in water by immersionin the name of  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (3) Washing of the saints feet(1Cor11:26; Matt 28:19; Rom6:4; John13:14,15)

We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is for all believers who ask for it. We believe the experience is seperate and apart from the new birth, although it should be desired and earnestly sought after by all believers. We believe that the initial evidence if the in-filling of the Holy Spirit is that of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Luke 24;49; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46)

We believe that the scriptures teach a life of holiness, without which, no man can see God (Heb 12:14) In view of the scriptures such as: (1 John 1:15,16; Titus 2:11,12; 2 Cor 6:17, 7:1;Gal 5:16-24) and many others, we believe the Christian can and must live a life of holiness and sanctification, seperating one's self from the world; abstaining from every appearance of evil, walking in the spirit, and overcoming the flesh by the power of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for the church, both those who are asleep in Christ as well as those of us who are alive and remain on earth. This is the blessed hope of the church.( 1 Thess 4:16,17; Rom 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor 15:51,52)
